I am a self-taught traditional and digital artist from Louisiana, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. My artistic practice bridges classical and contemporary influences, reflecting the cultural richness and resilience of myself.

Working primarily in monochromatic palettes, my style incorporates crosshatching and pointillism to achieve depth, texture, and emotional resonance. I often use gouache and ink, a pairing that creates a tactile surface and dimensional quality that invites viewers to experience the work beyond the image itself.

My art focuses on the softness and strength of women (of color), exploring themes of identity, beauty, and endurance. Through recurring motifs—florals, skulls, and the female figure—I explore the duality of fragility and power within the human experience. My color choices of crimson red, ultramarine blue, mars black, and titanium white are deliberate, each tone symbolizing vitality, emotion, and contrast within my subjects.
